Clark and Carter's origins began when Steve opened a small recovery and repair
business in the village of Silver End in 1982. After a few years, the business out
grew the site at Bulldog works and moved to our current premises in the sleepy village
		of Cressing.
The buildings originally belonged to Steve's father in law who is the local farmer in
		the village.
Many of the buildings were used for livestock and storing the farms crops. However today the
buildings are used for a very different purpose and have been turned into the heart and soul
of Steve's and his families pride and joy.
After many years of carrying out accident recovery and repairs, Steve and his small team started
to merge their talents with their love enthusiasm for classic vehicles; with particular interest
		in Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Porsche.
With Steve fronting the flourishing business and Heather running the office, it was only natural
that when their sons Jamie and Stuart became of age to work that they followed in their parent's
		footsteps and joined the business.
The family run business has continued to grow mainly on word of mouth recommendations. Today
the company has 7 workshops, a dedicated parts department and over 30 members of highly trained
		and experienced staff.
Our skills and expertise have also continued to develop, whilst consistently advancing our capabilities
to produce the very finest examples of classic motoring history.
